  Colin Allcard

  • Over 25 years commercial international oil industry experience, including senior management positions with Shell in oil products and crude oil supply and trading
  • Downstream marketing and general management experience with highly developed expertise in the retail liquid fuels, lubricants and aviation businesses
  • With over 15 years expatriate experience, well versed in operating in developing countries with a wide diversity of cultures.  Specific knowledge of the US, Middle East and African countries
  • Direct experience of managing business process redesign projects, change management and of implementing re-organisation programmes
     

Charles Daly

  • International oil marketer and consultant to established and emerging companies
  • A recognised authority on Middle East, Mediterranean and Russian oil supply markets
  • Expert knowledge of financing and legal matters
  • Previously spent many years with BP and Ultramar, initially in research then in logistics and refinery supply and thereafter in developing business internationally
  • Founder member and first vice-chairman of the UK's International Petroleum Exchange
  • Has lectured and given papers on a wide range of oil-related subjects in a number of countries

 

Ben Holt

  • 20 years' experience in oil supply, trading, upstream commercial and gas 
  • Played a key role developing and managing trading and marketing activities at Enterprise Oil, where he was Head of Marketing until 2002
  • Strengths in crude trading and price risk management, oil valuation and new projects having worked on North Sea, Mediterranean, US, Latin American and Indonesian markets
  • Senior -level experience of upstream commercial business and strategy formation as well as European gas strategy 

 

Stewart James

  • Chemist whose 30 year career with  industry majors BP and Texaco encompassed oil supply and trading through refinery planning to distribution operations and marketing
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in the commercial, technical and environmental aspects of the downstream oil business
  • Skills include economic analysis, strategic planning, policy formulation and negotiation
  • Consultancy experience has included commercial assessments of both hardware and hydrocarbon assets in Europe, FSU, Africa and South America

 

Philip Nutman

  • Recently joined from the Energy Team at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was the leading gas industry expert, specialising in developing natural gas markets and the impact of market liberalisation and privatisation
  • Has led major international oil and gas projects in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and South America
  • Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers, worked for British Gas plc as commercial manager on international gas and power developments and as lead contract negotiator. Before that worked with Petrofina (now Total SA) in the downstream oil sector
